Leaders of the DC Chapter of Concerned Police Survivors (COPS) lay a wreath for all women who've lost their lives in the line of duty.

Leaders of COPS stand with parents of Police Officer Gail Cobb. Officer Cobb, of the Metropolitan Police Department, was the first woman in law enforcement to loose her life in the line of duty in 1974.

Special Agent US Army CID VinCene McClain receives a rose to pay tribute to Sergeant First Class Jeanne Margaret Balcombe and Military Police Officer Tekoa Lurray Brown.

At the National Law Enforcement Officer's Memorial in Washington, DC, conference participants gather together for the service titled "Celebrations of the Contributions of Women in Law Enforcement" to pay tribute to the 173 women who've lost their lives in the line of duty.
